Am I Ugly?

For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
Psalms 139:13-14

We need to encourage one another, we need to show
the love of God but are we really doing it?

Most of the time we are busy Telling people what they are, who they are, they should look
themselves according to us, NO! We should look at us according to God.

I always love stories and I am going to share a story.

There was a girl and she accepted Christ when she was a little girl.
when she entered in her teenage, Many people started telling her,
That “She doesn’t look good, nobody would ever want her and she would never get married because she was ugly.”
Before accepting Christ, when she was a little girl, she
struggled with a disease in that her body used to be frozen but her mind was awake. Though God healed her through prayers, but every time she made a mistake or
she did something wrong, she heard, “You’ve been a mad
person, even after your brain’s treatment you are not fine and you are still mad.”
She grew up with all these thoughts and there was a time
when she stopped looking into the mirror because she was done hearing, “how ugly she was.”
Then she realized, “Every time she accepts what people are telling her.”
“She turns to God and tell him that he has made her ugly.”

“You need to trust God and you need to know, no matter
how you look or what you have done! “Nothing can ever separate you from the love of God.”
“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:39”

This is what happens when we don’t encourage people
but discourage Them.
Because…
“Our words can build or destroy”

so what happens when you discourage people.
“They stop looking at the good side of them.”

Can we call someone ugly? NO! because God has not made anything UGLY!
Look around, you can see the Beauty all around you and he has made all these things with his words so how can we call someone ugly.
No! We cannot call anyone ugly because he has made us in his own image and every time when we call someone ugly, we call God UGLY.
So let’s have this time and sit in God’s presence and say:
God I’m very sorry to call you ugly because you are a Beautiful God and you have made everything beautiful.
There is nothing that I can call ugly because you are the creator.
“If my creator is Beautiful so I am Beautiful.”
You need to know, How you are made and who made you!
He formed you in your mother’s womb and you are fearfully and wonderfully made!
Task:
Call someone whom you discouraged and apologize.
Try to encourage!

Blessings
