John 15:12: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
Jesus commanded us to love one another but I want to ask something to all of us.
What does it mean to love each other like Jesus loved us?
There is no condition apply in loving someone like Jesus.
In wordly love there are always conditions apply.
In Jesus’ love there is no condition apply because his love is unconditional and in unconditional love there can never be conditions.
He choose to die for us.
He choose to forgive our sins. He choose to call us his daughters and sons.
That is what he is asking us to do.
He is asking us to love each other with love like him.
forgive each other.
we all are sinners and very single day we struggle with sins.
Above all we need to forgive sins, because many time we say, I love like Jesus and I love Jesus but when we sit and think there will be many people we still need to forgive.
1 Peter 4:8: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
One thing I have realised, why is it important to follow Jesus!
Because, he teaches us to love to forgive and to bear each other in love.
As the word says:
Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
Task:
Sit and dwell in God’s word and make a list of people you still need to forgive and pray for them daily.
